Visited for YYC Hot Chocolate Fest 2025 ended up staying for a fantastic lunch ..
We walked over tonight as we live quite close. What a pleasant surprise! Our server was wonderful and the food was really great. We had a big salad full of goat cheese and veg paired with a brisket sandwich (local Alberta beef was a plus). We looked at the brunch menu and can’t wait to return for that! Go support local and check it out!
We have been to Chef n Farmers 4 or 5 times now. We can honestly say we haven’t a bad meal. Today was no different, we tried brunch and all four of us said our dishes were fantastic. Fresh and the presentation is always great. We love the charm of this restaurant and the service is awesome. The bacon jam was one of the best toppings ever.
Best Tuna Poke I’ve ever had! Best passion fruit mimosa as well!! Hidden gem and I’ll definitely be back
A hidden culinary gem! We recently moved to Altadore and were delighted to find this spot so close to home. Three of us enjoyed the bison burger and it didn't disappoint. The bison was harmoniously paired with prosciutto and caramelized onions. The fries were also A, perfectly crispy outside and fluffy inside. Support local and pay Chefs N Farmers a visit! We plan to make a return visit to try the brunch.
The best Calamari in Calgary! We would come back just for that. We came for yyc hot chocolate fest; very good hot chocolate (European style) albeit a bit rich for us. A nice place to go for a cozy meal.
Great little restaurant tucked in a quiet setting! My family loved all their food and the service was very attentive. I especially love when restaurants present high quality options for children! Malibu chicken, crispy habanero chicken sandwich, chicken supreme and the cheeseburger were enjoyed by all. We also tried both the tomato and Thai soups, and they were both creative and so flavourful. Will definitely come again!
We popped in here as we'd seen some postings on FB about this hidden gem. It truly is a gem and perhaps too hidden. Fantastic food, focused on local sourcing. We had the tacos as a starter, followed by the steak au poivre and the blackened salmon. Tacos are flavourful and juicy. I'd actually go back just to have those as a quick, light snack. The steak was perfectly cooked, the pan pepper sauce was delicious. Veggies were perfectly tender, crisp. The salmon was also perfectly cooked, not dry at all, and the pan sauce was fantastic. Added bonus, the patio is dog friendly and they brought a bowl of water for our pooch. Easy parking, it is upstairs from the tennis club and they have an abundance of parking. We'll definitely be putting this place on a regular rotation for spots to eat at.
